COMPUTER ACCESS CATALOG SYSTEM offers flexible operation and utilizes all the features to be found in Windows ’98, ’2000, XP, XP PRO and NT. Both single user and network versions are available making the program perfect for every small and midsize library and special collections in larger libraries.

Point & Click operation makes it easy for even the most inexperienced computer user to select and find search requirements. And those familiar with the Windows format will discover a program designed to utilize all those features, making the program user friendly. The COMPUTER ACCESS CATALOG SYSTEM is so affordable and so easy to learn and use it allows you to make better use of your time. You do not need to be a cataloger or a typist. The on-screen templates ask for all the needed information. Simply type the information in the spaces provided. Making corrections and fixing mistakes is done at the touch of a key. And, probably the best part, type the information once, you need not do it again.

NEWEST ENHANCEMENTS AND ADDITIONS:

• Search by all parts of the entry (i.e., author, title, subject, call # and all others)
• Search for any words in any of those fields
• Search and find ANY word in the notes field
• Print with ease directly through the Windows printer driver
• Read bar code labels using a scanner

You may also adapt this program so it can be used as an Acquisition program. Entering the date ordered in the ID field allows you to print by order date, print and submit to publisher or jobber. When the item arrives, simply delete the order date, and enter the ID#. It is already in the system and ready to be shelved. If desired, you can print a shelf list card and hold it for arrival.

Print complete reports on screen or paper of all holdings, by author, title, call # or ID #. Print the entire catalog or any part you choose. Print labels for spine, book cards and pockets. Create these reports through the Windows reports manager and print through the Windows printer driver.
